Blueberry Coconut Superfood Smoothie

I try and drink one green smoothie per day but my taste buds were bored with kale and spinach as the green components.

I did some research and decided to order Vitamineral Green to super boost the nutrition of my smoothies without adding spinach or kale. A large container is around $60 but the supply lasts a few months and it’s so dang healthy, it’s worth it.

As long as you don’t add too much, the taste completely disappears in this smoothie. The flavors of vanilla and blueberries remain center stage thanks to frozen blueberries, vanilla coconut almond milk, and unsweetened vanilla coconut yogurt.

I don’t like coconut yogurt by itself but I love it in smoothies. The Unsweetened Vanilla has 1 gram of sugar per serving but it adds a delicious creaminess to the smoothie and the vanilla flavor makes it taste like cake batter. Cold, creamy, sweet, healthy blueberry cake batter.

Chia, hemp, and ground flax seeds add nutrition and fiber. I keep all three in my refrigerator but only add a tablespoon of one to the smoothie. Adding more than one of these seeds is a little too much for my gag reflex but if you can handle more, add away!
